There were several people that felt they needed to tell me I shouldn’t be in maternity clothes yet. I told them I couldn’t control if my belly decided to pouch out. (of course then we found out we were having twins).

I really don’t love maternity clothes and I don’t think that they even are comfortable. As for stretch marks - I would hate to know what would have happened if I hadn’t put cocoa butter on my belly EVERY DAY!
